How has your upbringing influenced your direction in life?
My parents have always encouraged me to find and enjoy my passions. They allowed me to discover what I was good at and then surrounded me in it. I was always naturally fascinated by femininity and dance, so I studied Classical Ballet and Callisthenics for over 25 years and even became a teacher myself. Both of these avenues gave me wonderful stagecraft skills that I fully utilise today in my sound and colour therapy work.

How did your spiritual search begin and how has it developed?
My search began in earnest in my late 20’s after my divorce. I felt lost and empty at this time and wanted a more fulfilling life, where I could be living on purpose everyday. Millennium Eve 1999 was a real turning point for me, as I truly asked spirit to set me on my course. Almost immediately the floodgates opened and I immersed myself into every bit of literature and course experience I felt drawn to. Now I am living and teaching what I was thirsting for not that long ago and I feel truly inspired and blessed.

What are some of your favourite places in the world that you have travelled to?
A few places stand out for me. I am a lover of ancient temple sites and energy vortexes when I travel, with my highlights so far being: The Temple of Hathor at Denderah in Egypt, The Pyramids at Giza (I feel they are my friends), Knossos & Phaistos on Crete in Greece, Santorini in Greece, The Dead Sea in Jordan and especially, the ancient temple site of Angkor in Cambodia. I visit Angkor every year now because of the beautiful star encoded energy I receive when I am there. And of course, Australia, my birth country, which has the best of everything all in one place.

What is your biggest achievement so far?
Without doubt it would be having the courage to speak out about the journey of the soul and thus establish my teaching enterprise, Deltawaves Sacred Sound and Colour Transformations. It has taken sheer determination and willpower to thrive in my new life when so much mainstream opposition from my old world (and new) was ready to dismiss me. But it has polished and honed the pearl, so to speak, and continues to do so everyday.

How would you describe yourself?
I am very loyal and intuitive, with my feelings being everything to me. One of my greatest strengths is tenacity coupled with resilience and I always look for the soul meaning behind experiences. I am a great supporter of people living their truth and find my sense of humour and ability to remain childlike keeps me balanced and real.

How do you push past any moments of doubt?
I usually check in with my Guides and ask for some honest feedback and signs of support. It is so amazing and humbling when the reassurance I am on the right track (or not) comes in so strongly and quickly all around me. I also remind myself of the bigger picture of why we are here on earth and I am then able to let go and create some space for the doubt to clear and newness to come in.

What issues do you feel are most pressing in the world today?
Personal responsibility is so important if we are to advance as souls. I truly believe that if we all take back our power by being responsible for our own thoughts, feelings and actions, the world will be a much more empowered and free place to live in.

What do you see happening in the world in the next 10 years? What will your contribution be?
Anything and everything could happen, it is all up to us! It is such an exciting period to be here for, with the dawn of a new world age in 2012. We are creating the future in each moment so patterns can be changed depending on how strongly our hearts join as one. I will be doing my best in ‘walking my talk’ and continuing to spread my message of self-empowerment and personal evolution through my writings and teachings around the globe.

Which two books would you recommend people to read?
Books are such a personal experience to the reader that they tend to find you when you are ready. However, two classics I love that hold universal appeal and strong, practical messages are: You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay and Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers.

Name two people who have inspired you on your journey.
Doreen Virtue has been a strong source of inspiration for me over the past decade. After seeing her live in 2003, I made some life changing decisions that have brought me to where I am today. Dian Booth, who is a Master Soul Healer from Alice Springs, has also been pivotal in instilling in me my self-belief in my healing abilities.

Sum up your philosophy on life.
There are no accidents or mistakes in life. We are all here for a reason and as part of personal choice. Accept others for who they are and then you too are free. Life is full of opportunity and it is all entirely up to you.
